Earthcut Gems is a trade-only supplier. We work with established jewelers, designers, retailers, and others in the jewelry industry. To qualify, you'll need to provide your business name and EIN (Resale Number) showing you operate in the trade.

We specialize in Montana sapphires across a wide range of colors, character and distinctive cuts. Every stone is hand-cut to preserve the natural shape of the rough stone. Each Earthcut Gem is a one-of-a-kind.

Our stones are ethically sourced directly from miners located in both the Missouri River Deposit and Rock Creek of Montana.

Earthcut began as a one-person cutting operation in New York, where stones are still cut today. As the company grew, expanding the team became essential to continuing to offer one-of-a-kind gemstones without compromising the philosophy behind the work.

Alongside our New York cutting operation, Earthcut now works with a small team of skilled cutters in Sri Lanka chosen specifically for their ability to work intuitively with natural rough. Each cutter follows the Earthcut approach: preserving character, honoring the original shape of the material, and resisting the urge to force gems into conventional forms.

We do not have a minimum order or minimum spend.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and ACH transfers. Payment is due in full at the time of order.

We invest heavily in high-quality images and video so that buyers can make confident decisions remotely. For clients working with end customers, we also offer a digital memo system that lets you share stones with your clients directly.

Physical memos are available on an approval basis. Please contact us through the contact form to inquire about a physical memo. Memo terms, duration, and insurance requirements will be confirmed in writing before any stone leaves our studio.

Yes, though please ensure that you are aware of any import duties on any orders you make as this will not be covered in the order cost.

All of our stones are shipped 2 day tracked, signed and fully insured as standard.

Yes. All shipments are fully insured for their full value until delivery is confirmed.

Once an order is placed, your order will be shipped within 2-4 business days.

All stones can be returned within 14 days. However the refund excludes shipping cost and transactional fees (3% of transaction).

Buyer is responsible for return shipping and all stones must be sent tracked and signed. Earthcut Gems cannot accept responsibility for the stones until they have been delivered, so insurance is encouraged.

We do not accept returns on international orders. All international sales are final. Please review images, video, and stone details carefully before placing an order, and reach out with any questions before purchasing.
